yeah, I think this is a rare car. My brother noticed the Wolfsburg badge and was pretty stoked about restoring this car.. now, he's not too sure.. kinda complicated, but he's sunk so much money into his cars and he's got credit card debts... I don't know if he'll finish this car or not :( He's talking other plans...

Great project, and nice photos. Parts are very easy to find for these, and replacing the floors in these is a lot easier than, say, replacing the floors in, say, a Mustang, or almost any other car for that matter.

yeah, the parts will be a snap for my brother, he has a magazine devoted to VWs as well as a running subscription to JC Whitney, who sells a lot of parts for these cars.
