It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

What's new for me

As Valentine's Day approaches, I'm still going steady long-distance with a total sweety of a woman. I think it's safe to share a little about her. I knew her a little back in 1984, we both went to the same high school. She admitted a crush on me back then, but I .. well, let's just say I messed up with her and didn't believe it and through a quirk in fate (and Facebook), I found her again and she again admitted she liked me, and as I got to know her, I've been falling for her too. We seem to click on the basic levels, how we approach life. I've been with her for about 2 weeks in person (she's long distance) and met her family. I like them all, they remind me of family

We exchanged Valentine's Day gifts early this year and she asked me to be with her for her birthday last month, so I did spend over a week there. It was so much fun! When I left, she admitted she'd miss me and I miss her all the time. I am going to see her again in person in April, then hopefully she'll visit me in July, after my next birthday. We're trying to figure out how to move closer to each other, but haven't worked that out yet.

I can see my gallery is approaching 200,000 deviation views. Very cool! I'm still hoping to buy a paint-by-number later this year and 2 more star wars figures to wrap up my collection. If I can get my computer upgraded a bit, I'll try to get back into computer art and 3D modeling/animation.
